    The Fairhope Museum of History will host “Tea for Two” on August 5 at 2:00 p.m. The speaker will be Donnie Barrett. Each Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Museum hosts a 'tea' where guests enjoy a cup of delicious Baldwin County tea, cookies and a lecture on an interesting aspect of Fairhope history. These very popular afternoon events are sponsored by the Friends of the Museum group.

  • Down Dog for $ollars: Sunset Yoga to Benefit The Haven

    As part of the 2014 Sunset Yoga for Charity, Rebecca Washburn will be teaching a yoga class to benefit the nonprofit adoption guarantee animal shelter, The Haven. The class will be at 6:30 p.m. August 8th. Bring a mat and a donation to the bluff above and to the right of the Fairhope Pier.

  • Secretary of State Jim Bennett Announces Second Round of Mobile Unit Visits

    Secretary of State Jim Bennett announced today that there will be another round of photo voter ID mobile unit visits starting in late July and continuing on into October. This will be in preparation for the November general election. Photo voter ID cards are given to qualified voters free of charge.
