Scale Back Alabama is a statewide weight-loss contest designed to encourage Alabamians to get healthy and to have fun while doing it. Scale Back Alabama is free, lasts 10 weeks and is open to teams of four from families, municipalities, businesses, clubs, or neighborhood groups.

AMEA and the City of Fairhope kick off 2015 Scholarship Program
Applications are currently available from school counselors in these Member cities, or you can go online to the AMEA web site, www.amea.com, Scholarship Program. Applications are reviewed and winners are selected by an independent panel of Montgomery area college guidance personnel. Application deadline is Monday, Feb. 2, 2015.

FAIRHOPE MUSEUM OF HISTORY HOSTING “TEA FOR TWO”
The Fairhope Museum of History will host “Tea for Two” on December 2 at 2:00 p.m. The speaker will be P.T. Paul. Each Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Museum hosts a 'tea' where guests enjoy a cup of delicious Baldwin County tea, cookies and a lecture on an interesting aspect of Fairhope history. These very popular afternoon events are sponsored by the Friends of the Museum group.

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the 62nd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope, which is scheduled for March 20, 21, 22, 2015 presented by PNC Bank. Festival hours are 10 am - 5 pm daily and there is no admission charge.

Fairhope Lighting of the Trees Planned for Thursday, November 13
The City of Fairhope will kick off the holiday season with their annual Fairhope Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, November 13. Festivities begin at 5:30 and the lights come on at 6 p.m. sharp! The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be emceed by the voice of the WABF, Lori Dubose. Entertainment includes the Fairhope High School band, the Fairhope Middle School band, Center Stage Choir, and the Eastern Shore Choral Society. Mrs. Claus will be passing out candy

Fairhope Lighting of the Trees 2014 Poster Artwork By Libby "McKibbon" McCawley
A display of McKibbon’s artwork will be in downtown Fairhope the night of tree lighting at the Lyon’s Share Gallery. Posters are available for $10 each at Fairhope City Hall and at Lyons Share Gallery beginning October 20th.
