Welcome to the City of Fairhope’s employment page! We invite qualified applicants to apply online for posted positions. The City of Fairhope only accepts applications for positions which are currently posted and reserves the right to extend or cancel any posting without notice. Applications must be submitted and received by 11:59pm CST on the closing date of the posting. The City of Fairhope may reject applications if they are incomplete or if requested information is not submitted as required.
The City of Fairhope will no longer accept paper applications for employment or promotional opportunities.

Requirements
Potential employees must provide a current Motor Vehicle Report, be insurable as a driver by the City’s insurance carrier, pass a physical screen, and background check. Safety-sensitive positions may require a potential employee to pass a drug screen. Some positions, such as positions in Law Enforcement or Finance, may require a potential employee to submit to a credit check in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
