One of the great things about living in Fairhope, Alabama is the weather provides golfers with the
opportunity to play all year long – weather permitting. And weather permitting are the operative
words. It’s no secret that we compete annually with Seattle for the greatest amount of rainfall, and we
seem to be winning that contest perhaps more frequently than we’d like.

The City of Fairhope will honor its military veterans with a Memorial Day Program and Baldwin Pops Concert on Monday, May 29th. The program will begin at 5:15 p.m. at the Fairhope Civic Center. The program will include: a moment of silence, prayer for deceased veterans, folding of the flag, and taps.

There will be no garbage, recycling or trash pickup for Memorial Day Holiday, Monday, May 29, 2017. Services will resume on the next scheduled pickup day.
