Currently Fairhope has more than 20,000 water, natural gas and electric customers. The meter and revenue departments are responsible for reading meters, collecting payments and handling any on/off orders concerning utilities.
New Utility Customers
New customers are required to pay a meter deposit and to fill out the form below. Meter deposits can be paid by credit card, cash or check. New customers also have to provide photo id and lease/rental agreements for properties when renting or leasing.

Utility Payments
The Revenue and Meter Departments are located at Fairhope City Hall, 161 North Section Street in Fairhope and is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The City accepts Discover, Mastercard and Visa or you can set-up an automatic draft from your checking account (form below). Beach/Dump Stickers
Residents of the City of Fairhope are entitled to vehicle stickers that allow free entry to the beach front park and allow them to use the City landfill with no fee. New stickers are distributed every other year at City Hall. To get a sticker for the landfill, you must bring in your most recent car tag receipt but for a beach sticker you only have to have a utility account with the City. Each resident household is allowed 4 stickers. For questions, call City Hall at 251-928-2136.
