City of Fairhope Accepting Nominations For 2024 Veteran of The Year
Applications for 2024 Veteran of the Year are now being accepted by the City of Fairhope. Each year the city honors a local living veteran who has served his or her country and has also used the leadership skills and abilities learned in service to the nation to better the community.

New information about Henry Stuart and Round House (“Hermit House”)
Three diaries and a scrapbook of photographs belonging to Henry James Stuart (1858-1946), the ‘Hermit’ of Montrose, have been donated to the Fairhope Museum of History by his descendants.

The City Of Fairhope Receives $200k In Federal Funding In The Consolidated Appropriations Act Of 2024
To combat the fentanyl crisis across the nation and in Baldwin County, Mayor Sherry Sullivan and the City of Fairhope are proud to announce that the City of Fairhope will receive $200,000 in congressionally directed funds as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024.

The City of Fairhope Receives $3 Million in Federal Funding for H. L. Sonny Callahan Airport in the Consolidated Appropriations Act Of 2024
The federal funding will come from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and has been designated to the H.L. Sonny Callahan Airport. These funds will be strategically invested in street, water, and sewer improvements on light industrial land adjacent to the airport.
