The City of Fairhope will hold a community meeting May 16th to discuss the Young Street Community Park Master Plan. The meeting will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Rotary Youth Club on Young Street.
“The purpose of this master plan is to make certain it feels like the community park it is, giving the entire community pride of ownership,” said Fairhope Mayor Karin Wilson.
The community is invited to attend the meeting. Conceptual plans for the park, which have been developed through stakeholder meetings, will be presented, and participants will also have an opportunity to give input on the plan.
“All of our parks in Fairhope are open to all, and this master plan helps us ensure that the location has the same options and recreation opportunities as every other park in our municipality does,” said Wilson.
