Shepherd’s Place Adult Respite Center’s Candy Cane Walk will take place at 4 p.m. Nov. 24 in downtown Fairhope.

The event is designed to bring awareness to caregivers as well as those who are affected by memory and physical challenges. The event will feature Santa as the grand marshal, t-shirts, refreshments and goody bags for all participants.

The registration fee is $20 for those 13 years and older and $15 for those 12 and younger. Registration includes a t-shirt as well as a goody bag. The local school with the most registrations will receive a donation of $250 from Shepherd’s Place.
