The Eastern Shore Art Center will be featuring Guest Speaker, Kate Halpin, in their next Artist Forum on August 23.
Kate Halpin grew up in Alaska, where she discovered her love of plants and the natural world at a young age. She is formally trained as a plant systematist with a master’s degree in botany and now lives and works on a carnivorous plant farm in coastal Alabama. She strives to capture the beauty of the natural world in a colorful and illustrative style. The forum begins at 10:30am. Admission is free to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
