The Archduke Trio, Music for violin, piano and cello
First performing together in 2006 Enen Yu, violin; Guo Sheng Huang, cello; and Robert Holm, piano perform chamber works from the 18th through 21st centuries. The Trio gets its name from Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio, op. 97 which was the featured selection of the group’s 2012 St. James Concert Series performance.
Enen is co-concertmaster of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, concertmaster of the Mobile Opera Orchestra, Guest Concertmaster of Pensacola Symphony Orchestra and director of Strings Studies at the University of Mobile.
Guo-Sheng Huang is principal cellist of the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra in Biloxi and plays in the Mobile Symphony. Huang is also the director of the Mobile Symphony Chamber Music Festival.
Robert Holm is Professor of Music and head of the piano division at the University of South Alabama and principal pianist for the Mobile Symphony.
All concerts are free and open to the public.
