The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser to benefit Fire Explorer Post No. 5058.
The August 3rd event will begin with a car show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the green space near the Fairhope Recreation Center/Fairhope Municipal Pool on Greeno Road. All makes and models of cars are welcome to enter the show. Car show registration is $25. Set-up for participants is at 9 a.m. An outdoor movie featuring "Cars 2" will be held at 8 p.m. at the same location. Admission is $5 per person.
All proceeds will be used to cover travel expenses and equipment for Explorer Post 5058 to attend the Alabama Fire College. Refreshments will be served throughout the day at the alcohol-free event.
