FAIRHOPE, Alabama –The City of Fairhope will mark the passage of two decades since 9/11 with a commemoration ceremony on Friday, September 10th at 9 a.m. The event will take place in front of the Fairhope Police Department with a block of Section Street closed for the special service.
The ceremony will include the unveiling of a statue and dedication to honor those and their families who serve to protect our safety, wellness and freedoms. The commemorations will include a prayer service and taps. Presentation of Colors will be done by the local Honor Guard. The event will also include a building dedication ceremony.
