The James P. Nix Center will host the 2 nd Annual Volunteer Fair on Tuesday, January 28 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The fair will feature organizations in the Baldwin County area who are looking for volunteers. “With the New Year upon us, many area residents are looking for a way to get involved in their community and the Volunteer Fair is a great way for them to find out where their help is needed” says Sarah Smith, Nix Center manager. “The Volunteer Fair is all about connecting those who want to volunteer with those that need volunteers”, says Smith.
The fair will feature organizations including The Haven, SELF, Bay Area Food Bank, Covenant Hospice, Thomas Hospital Auxiliary, CARE House, Catholic Social Services and many more. The Volunteer Fair is open to the public and free of charge. The Nix Center is located at One Bayou Drive in Fairhope.
