The James P. Nix Center will host its 5th Annual Volunteer Fair on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The fair will feature organizations in the Baldwin County area or who service Baldwin County, who are looking for volunteers. “With the New Year quickly approaching, many area residents are looking for a way to get involved in their community and the Volunteer Fair is a great way for them to find out where their help is needed” says Sarah Smith, Nix Center manager. “The Volunteer Fair is all about connecting those who want to volunteer with those that need volunteers”, says Smith.
The Nix Center is currently accepting applications from local organizations who wish to participate in the fair. Those interested should contact Sarah Smith at 251-929-1447 for more information.
