Fairhope Museum of History hosting “Tea for Two”

  • Date: 10/28/2014 2:00 PM

The Fairhope Museum of History will host “Tea for Two” on September 2 at 2:00 p.m. The speaker will be Anne Crawford.  Each Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Museum hosts a 'tea' where guests enjoy a cup of delicious Baldwin County tea, cookies and a lecture on an interesting aspect of Fairhope history. These very popular afternoon events are sponsored by the Friends of the Museum group.

The schedule for September is as follows: October 14, Jack Cummings, came to Point Clear in 1920 with his family. Jack will tell us of his life, family and work careers in our area. October 21, Fred Marchman, local author and college professor, will present his new book “Portals of Paradise.” October 28, Mike Turner, founding member of the Eastern Shore Ukulele Club, will present songs covering the ukulele’s unique cultural past from the beaches of Hawaii to Tiny Tim. The Fairhope Museum of History invites everyone to attend for colorful, interesting and entertaining afternoons at the museum.
