This fall the City begins the process to update Fairhope’s Comprehensive Plan. The current plan was adopted in 2000 after a series of town meetings and was updated in 2006, again with public input. The Comprehensive Plan provides the City Council and Planning Commission with a guideline to follow when making decisions about growth and development issues.

Meetings will be held on Monday, October 20 at Homestead Village; Tuesday, October 21 at Fairhope Elementary School and Thursday, October 23 at Fairhope Intermediate School.  All meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to watch for updates on the City’s website and Facebook page as we move through the process this fall.
