Senior citizens and their loved ones are invited to the 9th Annual Health & Wealth Fair on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the James P. Nix Center in Fairhope. The event is co-sponsored by the City of Fairhope’s James P. Nix Center and Optimum Asset Management of Daphne. The event begins at 9 a.m. and features informational displays from area businesses and professionals in the health and financial fields, door prizes, and three keynote speakers.
Participants who attend all informational booths are eligible for a free box lunch at noon, courtesy of The Blake at Malbis. Those who attend the three lectures during lunch are eligible to win door prizes, including the grand prize of an Apple iPad! You must be present at the 2 p.m. drawing to win the iPad. New to this year’s fair is Bingo! Guests who visit all informational booths are invited to play Bingo, beginning at 9:30 a.m., for a chance to win prizes.
Greg Dorriety of Optimum Asset Management will be one of the three keynote speakers, as well as Deanna Auner, Executive Director for Homestead Village, and Carl Schneider of Schneider Insurance Agency. “You will not want to miss these knowledgeable speakers,” said Sarah Smith, Nix Center manager. “We are so fortunate to have Greg, Deanna and Carl share their expertise with us.”
