  • Date: 07/08/2014 2:00 PM

The Fairhope Museum of History will host “Tea for Two” on July 1 at 2:00 p.m. The speaker will be Donnie Barrett.  Each Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., the Museum hosts a 'tea' where guests enjoy a cup of delicious Baldwin County tea, cookies and a lecture on an interesting aspect of Fairhope history. These very popular afternoon events are sponsored by the Friends of the Museum group.

The schedule for July is as follows: July 8, Anna & Reed Myers, both grew up in Fairhope. Anne’s grandfather was Clement Coleman, one of Fairhope’s founders.  July 15, Leslie Johnson and Dean Mosher will be performing “The Diary of Adam & Eve by Mark Twain” along with Donnie Barrett. July 22, Margaret Norton, former Assistant Dean of Women at Finch College, she will tell us about her many accomplishments and achievements. July 29, Jo Ann Broadus, Coordinator for the Eastern Shore Dogwood Trail Pageant, she will give us a look into her life here in Fairhope. The Fairhope Museum of History invites everyone to attend for colorful, interesting and entertaining afternoons at the museum.
