The Fairhope Museum of History will revive a traditional May Day type festival, known as the Satsuma Blossom Festival.
On April 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM the Museum grounds will come alive with many interesting attractions. Planned activities include a Slow Bike Race, Bean Bag Competition, Cup Cake Walk, Balloon Stomp, Organic School Folk Dances and a Dance Outlet Maypole Dance. Inside the Museum will be a presentation on the history of the Satsuma, a forum on compiling Life Stories featuring several well known local authors. For more information, call 929-1471.
